ELIGIBILITY
Nursing applicants, like those applying for any other undergraduate course, must adhere to the B.Sc (Nursing) entrance 2023 requirements. Below, we outline the eligibility criteria for B.Sc. (Nursing) admissions in India in 2023
Age Requirements:
- Candidates should be a minimum of 17 years old to apply for B.Sc. (Nursing) admission in 2023.
- The maximum age limit is 35 years for B.Sc (Nursing) admission.
Educational Qualifications:
- Applicants should have successfully completed their Class 12 education.
- The mandatory subjects in Class 12 should include Physics, Biology, English, and Chemistry.
Entrance Exam Requirement:
- Candidates must meet the prescribed cutoff score in the qualifying entrance exam for B.Sc. (Nursing) admission.
Note on Specialized Exams:
- Certain entrance exams, such as the Indian Army B.Sc. (Nursing), exclusively accept applications from female candidates.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE for B.Sc Nursing
- BSc (Nursing) Application:
- Aspiring nursing students commence the admission process by submitting their application either online or offline.
- Issue of Admit Cards
- After the successful submission of application forms, the applicants need to downloded the admit cards to appear in the exam
- Appear for the Entrance Exam
- Participation in the entrance exam is a mandatory step in the admission process. This examination assesses the candidate's qualifications and suitability for the program.
- Result Announcement
- The conclusion of the entrance exam, the competent authority will release the results. These results are based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam.
- Release of Cut off List
- After announcing the results, the conducting body will publish the cut-off list, which signifies the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates must meet these requirements to secure admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) program.
- Counselling
- Based on the merit list derived from the entrance exam results, the counseling process for B.Sc. (Nursing) will be conducted. This step helps match students with their preferred colleges.
- Seat Allotment
- Seats will be allocated to candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam and the outcome of the counseling process. This ensures that students are placed in the colleges of their choice.
- Reporting to the College

CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE OF THE TRAINEES

- Trainees are accountable to the Principal for their conduct, both within and outside the campus.
Maintaining Silence:

Cell Phone Use:
- The use of cell phones is strictly prohibited in classrooms.
Property Care:
- Trainees should take good care of college and hospital property and assist in its upkeep. Writing on blackboards, scribbling on tables, chairs, or walls is not permitted.
Property Damage:
- Deliberate damage to college and hospital property is considered a breach of discipline.
Leave Approval:
- If a student needs to leave the college or hospital premises during the day for an emergency, they must obtain approval from the class coordinator and provide a letter from a parent or guardian.
Compliance with Rules and Regulations:
- Trainees are expected to follow the rules and regulations established by the University, College, Hospital, and Hostel authorities.
Disciplinary Actions:
- Violations of rules may result in disciplinary actions at the discretion of college authorities, and in serious cases, expulsion from the college may be considered.
Ethical and Professional Standards:
- Trainees are required to uphold ethical and professional standards in their behavior both within and outside the college, hospital, hostel, and community premises.
Principal's Decisions:
- Decisions made by the Principal are considered final and binding on the trainees.
Rule Updates:
- Rules and regulations are subject to change over time, and trainees are expected to stay informed of any updates.
Ragging Policy:
- Ragging, within or outside the institution, is strictly prohibited. It is a criminal offense according to Supreme Court and Central/State Government Directives. Anyone found guilty of ragging may face severe consequences in compliance with the Higher Educational Institutions (Curbing the Menace of Ragging) Act, 2009.
